Nigel is a non-executive Director of Network Research.
He started his research career in the sixties as a client before moving onto the supply side with Harris Research and later AGB which was then Britain’s largest research agency. At AGB he was eventually responsible for all the company’s custom research businesses.
In 1990 he moved on to be a part-owner of BJM, becoming Managing Director. BJM ultimately sold out to NFO and merged with Infratest Burke to become NFO UK where Nigel was Chairman.
Nigel maintained a senior management role after TNS acquired NFO, and then retired in 2008.
He has been very active in the research industry having been Chairman of AMSO (at the time the body representing the supply side of the research business) and has been Honorary Secretary/Treasurer of the MRS, for which he was made one of the first Fellows of the MRS. He has also presented many papers at both MRS and ESOMAR conferences.
