Overall responsibility:
Being familiar with required company standards and processes with regard to project management and ensuring they are applied to all projects allocated to you.
You must acquaint yourself with those projects you are working on. This should involve reading all key documents such as Brief, Proposal, Outline Document and any previous deliverables.
You will be involved in the drafting of questions or questionnaires, code frames, briefing documents and table/analysis specifications. In order to ensure high quality, you will also be required to check questionnaires, CATI scripts and deliverables for accuracy.
Certain deliverables on projects will include charts and interpretations of data. Consequently you will be involved in the production of such deliverables and should therefore be sufficiently familiar with the project objectives to select appropriate data and draw intelligent conclusions.
Whilst some of your output may need to be ‘signed off’ by your line manager, you will be expected to produce drafts to a standard of near completion.
Client contact, whether via email, telephone contact or the extranet will be an integralpart of your role. You should express issues to clients appropriately, in a timely manner, copy correspondence to other team members and file a copy in the project folder.
If a problem on a project is apparent, whether concerning timing, costs, data quality or otherwise, you should ensure that the project team is aware and alert your line manager with suggested remedial action.
